You are the gentlest soul in this place, sister. Perhaps it has been recognised, in some way; perhaps you will find such a connection only with those who truly deserve your company.
I would cut down anyone who claimed you "too odd". You are meant to be exactly as you are.
[Look, she doesn't approve of violence, but she understands the sentiment all the same. It makes her smile and she plucks a couple of flowers to bring home to him for it.]
Thank you. Perhaps I needed to be reminded of that.
Despite everything, I'm enjoying my time here. It would be nice to go home, but I've gotten used to this place so far. Everyone I've spoken to has been very nice and kind to me.
I have a good feeling about John Silver as well. I hope you can keep speaking with him.
I would love that. I think I might try my hand at some of it too. Perhaps I can find a woman around who would be willing to teach me. [She likes Silver, but also she knows enough about Propriety that it wouldn't be good to just, have a man, alone, teaching her.] There's a woman I've met named Konoha that I like very much and she seems to struggle with the devices and technology here as well, so we might be able to discover something together.
She showed me how to tie logs for her to move. I've never had to do manual labor in my life, but it was sort of...
Thrilling? I suppose I didn't have to do the actual labor part, but she was very kind. Also half-horse? I meant to buy a horse brush for her.
[It's easier to talk through text like this-- Not to Aemond specifically, just in general. She can gather her thoughts more clearly and articulate them better, and there's no need to worry about offending someone for not looking them in the eye, AND it gives her hand something to do while still communicating. If only she could bring this back home with them.]

Perhaps I am just too odd for it or perhaps I just don't understand it.
My dreams have been quiet too.

I had Silver teach me a recipe, that I might practice cooking for us both. Would you like to try it?
